These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Homewizzy website and enquiry service ("Service"). By using our website or submitting an enquiry, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. About Homewizzy
Homewizzy is a free service that connects Australian homeowners with independent, Clean Energy Council (CEC) accredited solar and battery installers. We are an introduction and matching service only. We are not a solar or battery installer, and we do not sell, supply, quote for, or install any products or systems. We do not provide financial, energy, tax or legal advice.
2. Eligibility
To use the Service you must be at least 18 years old, a resident of Australia, and the owner of the property to which the enquiry relates (or authorised to enquire on the owner's behalf). You agree that the information you provide is true, accurate and complete.
3. How the Service works
When you submit an enquiry, we may share your details with one or more independent CEC accredited installers who service your area, so they can contact you and provide a quote or estimate. By submitting an enquiry you consent to being contacted by us and by those installers by phone, SMS and email, as described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Estimates, rebates and savings
Any figures shown on our website, including potential savings and government rebates (such as the federal Small-scale Technology Certificate scheme and battery rebate programs), are general, indicative estimates only. They are not offers, quotes or guarantees. Your actual price, savings and rebate eligibility depend on your property, system, usage and the installer, and are determined by the installer at the time of quoting and installation. Government schemes and their eligibility criteria may change without notice.
5. Independent installers
Installers are independent third parties. They are solely responsible for their own quotes, advice, products, workmanship, warranties, pricing and conduct. Any contract for the supply or installation of a solar or battery system is between you and the installer, not with Homewizzy. We do not endorse, guarantee or accept responsibility for any installer or their goods or services. You are responsible for satisfying yourself about any installer before entering into a contract with them.
6. Your obligations
You agree not to misuse the Service, submit false or misleading information, submit another person's details without their consent, or use the website in a way that is unlawful or could damage or interfere with it.
7. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos and design, is owned by or licensed to Homewizzy and is protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce or use it without our permission.
8. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to clause 8, Homewizzy is not liable for any loss or damage (including indirect or consequential loss) arising from your use of the Service, from any installer or their goods or services, or from your reliance on any estimate or information on our website. Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our liability is limited to re-supplying the relevant service.

Our handling of your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
11. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia and the State or Territory in which you reside, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that place.
